Description
Ecoblend RA® is a high-performance blend of crushed natural stone and recycled asphalt and/or recycled crushed concrete. Produced to BS EN Standards and Standards for Highway Specifications, it is the versatile, sustainable option for use in almost all areas.

Typical Uses

Used to create an easily compacted load bearing non-permeable sub-base and back fill i.e. roads, paths, driveways, car parks and structural bases

Typical use is as a surface prior to a top coating of asphalt, concrete, shingle and block paving
Useful Information

This is a well graded mixture which interlocks when compacted to ensure minimal voids and provide excellent load bearing qualities

Should be non-frost susceptible when used within 450mm of the finished surface, and has a maximum permitted top size of 63mm, graded down to dust

Unlike primary materials an Ecoblend TM product will have an allowed level of contamination by weight, this can be wood, ceramic, glass etc. Due to this fact we must make sure that Ecoblend TM material is not the finished surface

If not conditioned with water the material will not compact properly
